Erklärung der Footprint-Kompatibilität

Was bedeutet ein „Footprint“? Der Begriff Footprint bezieht sich auf die Struktur der Sockel und Schraubenlöcher an der Basis des optischen Geräts.

Und was bedeutet es, wenn die Footprints kompatibel sind? Jedes optische Visier hat eine Basis zur Montage. Die Basis besteht aus Stiften in verschiedenen Positionen und Löchern für Schrauben, die zur Befestigung des Visiers an der Halterung verwendet werden.

Wenn zwei Visiere die gleiche Basis zur Montage verwenden, sagen wir, dass sie den gleichen Footprint teilen. In diesem Artikel zeigen wir, welche Leuchtpunktvisiere den gleichen Footprint teilen.

Trijicon RMR Fußabdruckmuster

Der RMR-Fußabdruck besteht aus zwei Steckplätzen vorne und zwei Schraublöchern in der Mitte des Visiers.

Die vorderen Steckplätze sind 22,5 mm / 0,89 Zoll voneinander entfernt und befinden sich jeweils in der Ecke der Vorderseite des Visiers. Die Position dieser beiden Steckplätze entspricht der Position der Stifte, die sich auf einer Montagefläche einer beliebigen Halterung für diesen Standard befinden.

Die Schraublöcher befinden sich ungefähr in der Mitte des optischen Geräts. Diese dienen zur Befestigung des Visiers an der Halterung. Diese beiden Schraublöcher sind 18,8 mm / 0,74 Zoll voneinander entfernt.

Die Schrauben, die für diese Schraublöcher verwendet werden sollen, sind immer im Lieferumfang des Visiers enthalten.

Wie man Leuchtpunktvisier mit Trijicon RMR Fußabdruck montiert

Es hängt davon ab, welches Gerät Sie montieren möchten.

  • Werden Sie es auf einer Picatinny-Halterung installieren? D.h. eine Waffe, die mit Picatinny-Schiene ausgestattet ist? Dann müssen Sie nach einer Picatinny-Halterung mit RMR-Fußabdruck suchen.
  • Oder werden Sie es auf einer Pistole montieren? Und wird die Pistole optics ready sein (mit Pistolenschlittenausschnitt für Leuchtpunktvisier). Dann müssen Sie nach Leuchtpunktvisier-Montage mit RMR-Fußabdruck suchen.
  • Oder wird es eine Standardpistole ohne solchen Ausschnitt sein? Dann müssen Sie nach einer Optikplatte mit RMR-Fußabdruck suchen.

I was a bit worried after reading bad reviews about fitting.
Mine is absolutely perfect. Screws are spot on. I took my time to properly install the plate handle fitting the red dot screws as recommended.
Degrease, Loctite and 48 h drying.
I passed 700 9mm NATO without any loosing screws.
When using Irons sight, it shoot wayyyyyyy High. Unusable iron.
I’m really pleased with this item.

I did not have to machine the slide. It just pops on, you do not need gun master to install.
The plate covers the space between the itself and the slide. You can install it to the middle of the slide only. It does not move at all.

Quality Solution

Since I couldn’t get a potential slide replacement for my no longer produced pistol, I couldn’t take a chance of milling it. Your type B red dot mount was my salvation. It works fantastic. Only suggestion is not having your newer insertion tool was a problem as the dive tail on the mount keep wanting to rise or ride out as you hammer the mount in place. Overall a great solution for older pistols and will tell my shooting buddies about it. Thanks! JS
